Every year there are several major events in Panama that are worth a visit. In January, the annual Jazz Festival is held in the Colonial Casco Antiguo. In February, Panama celebrates its Carnivals - the best and most colorful celebrations are found in Las Tablas and Chitre on the Azuero Peninsula.
