The charming mountain village is located in the highlands of the Chiriquí Province on the eastern flank of the Baru volcano. Widespread rocks witness the volcanic origin of this area. Boquete cultivates shade grown coffee known as the country’s best coffee and is famous for the yearly flower and coffee fair. Your Boquete Getaway will give you an insight of the native indigenous tribe Ngöbe-Buglé and will teach you more about the local flora and fauna.
The activities of the areas are countless. Challenging hikes around the lovely village are waiting for the active visitor, the highlight being the demanding climbing of Baru volcano, with 3474m the highest point in Panama.
