An 8-day trip to experience the fresh essence of Panama: historical sites, an impressive train ride, the captivating Panama Canal, the inspiring nature and coffee plantations of Boquete, plus the turquoise waters and white sand beaches of Bocas del Toro; a journey full of recreational opportunities!

Day : 1 - , Thursday: Arrival in Panama City :

Upon arriving to Panama, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to a city hotel by one of our representatives.

Day : 2 - , Friday: Panama Railroad and Portobelo historic site :

Today, you will be taken by road to the charming town of Portobelo located on the Caribbean coast. Portobelo was part of a fascinating pirate history. You will learn about Henry Morgan, the exploits and the way he stole silver and gold. Later in the afternoon you will be taken back to Panama City by train. It will be an ocean-to-ocean ride that runs parallel to the Panama Canal, and offers stunning views of a masterpiece of engineering. The railroad passes through the water over causeways that connect small islands in the artificial lake, with amazing views. You will have the chance to catch a glimpse of monkeys, crocodiles and toucans during the way.

This tour includes: English speaking guide, transfers, entrance fees to the sites and lunch.

Day : 3 - , Saturday: Partial Canal Transit :

Today you will submerge into the Panamanian history. You will experience a partial transit of the extraordinary Panama Canal. Observe huge cargo ships, while you get information about the Canal history, operation and the current expansion process. Lunch will be served on the ship.

This full day tour includes: English speaking guide, lunch and transfers.

Day : 4 - , Sunday: Panama City - David - Boquete :

Early in the morning, you will be transferred to the Albrook airport in Panama City for your departure flight to David. After arriving, our representative will take you up to Boquete, for your stay at Panamonte Inn & Spa.

Day : 5 - , Monday: Coffee Tour in Boquete :

Today, you will take a tour to a coffee plantation, either Casa Ruiz or Finca Lerida, where you will learn about the procedure for growing, harvesting and roasting the coffee bean, and will have the opportunity to sample the different kinds of beans. Later, you may spend the afternoon at leisure or hike into the forest.

Day : 6 - , Tuesday: Boquete - Bocas del Toro :

You will be taken from Boquete to Isla Colon on the paradisiacal Bocas del Toro archipelago. This transfer starts with a lovely 4 hours drive through the highlands and down to the Caribbean coast where you board a boat to Bocas del Toro.

Overnight at Punta Caracol, breakfast, tea and dinner included.

Day : 7 - , Wednesday: Leisure Day at Bocas del Toro :

Spend a free day at leisure in Bocas del Toro. You may sign up for the optional tours offered: like hiking, dolphin watching, snorkeling or simply relax at the beach.

Overnight at Punta Caracol, breakfast, tea and dinner included.

Day : 8 - , Thursday: Bocas del Toro - Panama City :

Today you will take a local flight from Bocas del Toro back to Panama City. After your arrival, you will be taken either to a city hotel or to the Tocumen International Airport for your departure flight.
