Day : 1 - , Wednesday: Arrival to Panama City :

After your arrival to Panama, you will be greeted at the airport and transferred to a city hotel by one of our representatives. Panama City is the capital and the biggest city of the country. Panama City is a cosmopolitan area, recognized for being a mix of cultures. You will certainly enjoy the Old City, a vast historical sector, known for its Spanish fortifications, colonial buildings and several churches.

Day : 2 - , Thursday: Panama City Tour :

You will be taken on a tour through the cosmopolitan Panama City. At the beginning, you will enjoy amazing views of mansions, sky scrapers and green hills, followed by a visit to a small marketplace, where you can buy beautiful Indian handicrafts. Then, you will visit the colonial part of the city, known as "Casco Antiguo", where you will see old churches and historical buildings. You will walk along the shoreline to see the main buildings, the Presidential Palace, the impressive Cathedral, and the splendorous Golden Altar of the San Jose Church. The last stop will be at the Amador Causeway, with outstanding views of both the canal and the city.

Day : 3 - , Friday: Embera Indians :

Early in the morning, you will be taken up north towards Lake Alajuela, to board a small boat that will take you to the Chagres River. It will be a dazzling journey where you can see the exotic wildlife and the lush rainforest. Visiting the Embera Indians is like being set back in time. As you will see, they have preserved their culture and traditions for hundreds of years. Lunch will be served at the Embera village.

Day : 4 - , Saturday: Partial crossing of the Panama Canal :

Today you will get submerged into history. You will enjoy a partial* transit of the extraordinary Panama Canal, passing through two sets of locks: Pedro Miguel and Miraflores. You will observe huge cargo ships, while you get information about the Canal history, operation and the current expansion process. Lunch will be served on the ship. Upon returning to the hotel, you may spend the rest of the day at your leisure.

*Every 3rd Saturday of the month you can do a complete canal transit for an additional $45 per person.

Transfer to the Tocumen International Airport for your departure flight.
