Day : 1 - Arrival in Panama City - Gamboa:

Upon arrival to Panama a representative of Panama Trails will pick you up at the airport and transfer you directly to Gamboa, a small village in the Panamanian Rain Forest. Gamboa is located on the shores of Gatun Lake, a large artificial lake that forms a major part of the Panama Canal, carrying ships for 33 km of their transit across the Isthmus of Panama.

Your hotel for the next three nights is the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. From this beautiful luxury hotel, you have immediate access to Panama's pristine rain forest and the Panama Canal. Day : 2 - Monkey Island Tour:

Travel on small boats northbound on the canal for 25 minutes where you might come close to some of the big ships that transit the canal daily. Slowly you will motor along the forested banks of Gatun Lake, a protected area. Look for wildlife such as Capuchin Monkeys, 3-toed sloth, Howler Monkeys, various kinds of Toucans and other bird life. This is a place to observe the raw regenerative power of the forest as it struggles to claim what was once wild.

Day : 3 - Gamboa Rainforest Resort:

Enjoy a free day at the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. Relax at the hotel’s facilities or book one of the many additional tours available at the resort.

Day : 4 - Gamboa – Playa Bonita:

Today you will be transferred from the rainforest to the beach in only one hour. You will cross the famous Bridge of the Americas to reach the stunning Intercontinental Playa Bonita Resort.
