From Panama City it's a lovely 20 minutes drive to get to the Gamboa Rainforest Resort. First you follow the street along the Panama Canal, passing the Miraflores locks and then you drive through the Gamboa rain forest. After crossing an old single-lane bridge and turning right just after you will arrive at the Gamboa Resort.
All the hotel rooms include balconies overlooking the enchanting Chagres River and the Rainforest. Each balcony has a comfortable hammock, and a patio table with chairs.
