David, the capital of Chiriqui, Panama's westernmost province is easily accessible from Panama City either by air, on reliable local airlines, one hour flight; or by land, a pleasant 5 hours drive on the Interamerican Highway. Boquete is just a 40 minute drive from David.
From the town plaza in Boquete to Finca Lerida there is a ten minute drive. Passing through the center of town continue on the main road for approximately 0.6 kilometers and bear left at the Y (La Huaca Inn). Continue on the main road and in approximately 1.6 km. more you will find another Y. Bear left towards Los Naranjos, you will pass the Boquete Stadium at your right hand side. Continue on the main road for about 2.1 km until you reach another Y. Again bear left with signs towards Callejon Seco. You will start climbing towards the mountains. Stay on the main road for about 4.9 km. more until you reach the top of the mountain where you will find a Finca Lerida sign and an iron gate. Take a left unto the gravel road. You are now in Finca Lerida.
Finca Lerida Old House, the Finca's original vintage family home of Scandinavian design consists of 3 suites and 2 bedrooms, each with private bath, decorated conserving the warm Scandinavian style. The inviting living room with its charming old fireplace and the garden bohio has views of the forest and stream on the property.
Finca Lerida Ecolodge has 11 very comfortable double rooms with private bath, each with its own porch overlooking the pristine forest and our small coffee plantation. The award winning coffee is produced in keeping with the lodge's commitment to preserve the environment and is an important element in sustaining the surrounding forests.
