Panama City Hotel : Canal House

Location:

Panama City

How To Get There:

The Canal House is located adjacent to the Panama Interoceanic Canal Museum in the heart of Casco Antiguo, Panama City’s colonial old quarter. Casco Antiguo is a UNESCO World Heritage site that is quickly being revitalized and now hosts some of the city’s best restaurants and Latin jazz clubs. For travelers who prize authenticity and experience, there truly is no other choice in Panama City. Casco Antiguo is walking distance from all of the key government ministries and equidistant from both the banking center and the Canal Zone (less than ten minutes to each) the Canal House makes an ideal base for business and leisure travelers.

At the Canal House a hearty breakfast will especially be prepared according to your preferences. For lunch and dinner there are many options in the Casco Viejo, just a few steps away from the hotel.

Canal House is elegant, tropical and relaxed, with just the right amount of sophistication. Originally built in 1893, Canal House was completely restored in 2005. The house is over four thousand square feet, with three bedrooms (two of which have adjoining private studies), four bathrooms, a library and a large living-dining room.
Canal House was created to provide a level of personalized service that traditional hotels cannot match. Whether you want to host a private function, hit the town and leave the kids at the hotel or just stay home and browse the house library, the Canal House’s staff is at your service.
