How To Get There:

Bananas Resort can be reached from Panama City in about two hours. Drive across the Isthmus towards Colon on the so called Transisthmica. Before reaching Colon, at the junction of Sabana Grande, you will have to turn right and follow the street to Portobelo, an important historical site. From Portobelo continue for 15 more minutes to Juan Gallego where you will find a secure parking area for the guests of Bananas Resort. Take a 5 minutes boat ride to get to the pristine Isla Grande.

The 28 comfortable suites with ocean view fronts are located on the hillsides and surrounded by lush vegetation. All of the suites have air conditioner, king or queen size beds, hot water, cable TV, beautiful surroundings and they are so spacious that you can easily accommodate a family of four. The coconut and banana trees, from which the hotel gets its name, contribute to the freshness, the splendor and the idyllic touch.
