COCLE PROVINCE

Playa Blanca
At Playa Blanca you will find some of the most interesting Pacific beaches in all Panama. During the sunny season (November – April) the sand is bright white while during the green season the rivers bring black sands from the extinct volcanic crater at El Valle. El Valle
El Valle (Anton Valley) is famous for its market featuring handcrafts, fresh fruits, vegetables and beautiful native plants such as orchids and bougainvilleas. The valley, emerged from an extinct huge volcano crater, features several picturesque small towns with small and comfortable Boutique Hotels or Bed & Breakfasts. The moderate and spring-like climate makes the valley an excellent summer resort. Besides of being one of the bird watching hot spots of the country, the Anton Valley offers fascinating hiking possibilities, zip line tours through the cloud and rain forest or scenic rides on a horseback.
